Police Department Leverages Fixed-Wing Aircraft for Enhanced Surveillance and Transport

The Phoenix Police Department has seen significant benefits from operating a Pilatus PC-12 Spectre, a fixed-wing aircraft that has expanded the department’s surveillance capabilities and enabled cost-saving transportation. The aircraft has been used in hundreds of arrests and has saved the department time and funds. The PC-12 has become a valuable asset for the Air Support Unit, which has grown to include six sworn officers trained to fly the aircraft.
