Pilatus Expands Presence in Africa with New Centre
Pilatus has established an Authorised Pilatus Centre in Southern Africa, located at Rand Airport in Johannesburg. The centre provides maintenance and support services for PC-12 and PC-6 aircraft, and has sold over 35 aircraft across the African continent since its founding. The centre is staffed by 25 employees and is involved in conservation efforts, such as tracking poachers. This is the first time Pilatus has had a presence in South Africa, and the company is now looking to offer sales and maintenance services for the PC-24 Super Versatile Jet in the region. The centre was established by a partnership between three South African aviation enthusiasts, and has been supported by Pilatus since its inception. The company’s experience and understanding of the African market have been instrumental in its success, and it is now well-positioned to support the growing demand for Pilatus aircraft in the region. This was first reported by Pilatus.
