Poland Finalizes $4.7B Deal for 96 AH-64E Apache Helicopters
Poland has finalized a landmark $4.7 billion purchase of 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters from Boeing, marking the largest order for the aircraft outside the United States. The deal, executed through a US Foreign Military Sales contract, represents a significant expansion of Poland’s defense capabilities amid regional security concerns. Boeing will provide training, maintenance support, and establish a composite laboratory in Poland as part of an offset agreement. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2028, with the Polish Armed Forces currently training personnel on eight leased Apache aircraft.
