Belgian Defense Modernizes Pilot Training with PC-7 MKX Selection
The Belgian Government has selected the Pilatus PC-7 MKX Training System to modernize its military pilot training program. The comprehensive 20-year contract includes 18 aircraft, advanced ground-based simulators, and infrastructure upgrades at Bevekom/Beauvechain Air Force Base, with deliveries beginning in 2027. Belgium becomes the third European air force to adopt the PC-7 MKX, joining the Netherlands and France in selecting this state-of-the-art training platform featuring Garmin G3000 PRIME cockpit avionics.
