BBN Airlines Thailand Launches ACMI Ops with Vietjet Partnership

BBN Airlines Thailand, the country’s first specialized ACMI operator, has launched commercial operations with Vietjet Thailand as its inaugural partner. Beginning December 1, 2025, BBN Airlines will supply a 180-seat Airbus A320 for Vietjet’s domestic routes between Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket. The partnership leverages Thailand’s robust aviation recovery, with domestic traffic surpassing 26 million passengers in the first half of 2025. This ACMI arrangement offers airlines flexible capacity solutions without long-term commitments, allowing operators to respond to rising travel demand amid Thailand’s tourism resurgence.
