Australia Considers Transferring Tiger Attack Helicopters to Ukraine

Australia is considering transferring retiring Tiger attack helicopters to Ukraine as Canberra phases out the fleet in favor of Boeing AH-64E Apaches. The potential transfer comes alongside a new AU$95 million military assistance package and additional sanctions on Russian vessels. While no final decision has been made, the European-designed Tigers could provide Ukraine with enhanced strike capabilities and night operations support along the front lines.
