AJet Expands Fleet with 10 New Boeing 737-8s Leased from DAE

Turkish Airlines’ subsidiary AJet has signed a long-term lease agreement with Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) for 10 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, marking a significant expansion of the carrier’s fleet. The aircraft will be delivered between 2026 and 2027, supporting AJet’s ambitious growth strategy. The recently rebranded carrier, which launched in 2024, plans to expand its fleet to 200 aircraft over the next decade and operate routes across 44 countries. This agreement underscores strong demand in Turkey’s rapidly growing aviation market, which saw a 5.7% increase in flight movements in the first half of 2025.
