AAPA Appoints Wong Hong as Director General, Succeeding Subhas Menon
The Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) has announced Wong Hong as its new Director General, effective April 1, 2026, succeeding Subhas Menon. Wong brings over 22 years of international aviation experience, including senior roles at Singapore Airlines and Delta Air Lines, where he most recently served as President for China. His appointment follows Menon’s six-year tenure leading AAPA through significant industry challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, during which he expanded membership to 18 airlines. Wong’s extensive regional expertise across China, India, Thailand, and Vietnam positions him to advance sustainable growth in Asia Pacific aviation.
