Pilatus and Synhelion are collaborating to accelerate the development of solar fuels for the aviation industry. The partnership aims to replace fossil fuels with renewable energy sources, with Pilatus planning to use Synhelion's solar fuels in its operations and offer them to customers.

Pilatus has commissioned the largest solar power plant in Canton Nidwalden, with a maximum power output of 1.973 megawattspeak (MWp). The new installation features almost 5,000 solar modules and is expected to meet the energy requirements of over 300 single-family homes per year.
