Open Cosmos has activated Ka-band spectrum filings, deploying two satellites to meet deployment deadlines for sovereign and enterprise broadband. This move comes after Liechtenstein reassigned the frequencies from Rivada, according to SpaceNews reports.

Rocket Lab successfully launched the first satellites for Open Cosmos, a new constellation being developed by the company. According to SpaceNews, the launch utilizes spectrum previously assigned to Rivada Space Networks.
