China has completed the maiden flight of the Tianma-1000, a domestically developed mid-altitude UAV designed for long-distance cargo transport. Developed by Xi'an Aisheng Technology Group, a subsidiary of China North Industries Group Corporation, the UAV features advanced artificial intelligence systems and an optical guidance landing system.
Ethiopian Airlines has begun construction on Bishoftu International Airport, a $12.5 billion project expected to become Africa's largest aviation hub once completed. The airport will feature four runways and aircraft parking capacity for up to 270 planes.
