Dassault Aviation has announced a strategic partnership with French defense technology company Harmattan AI to accelerate the integration of controlled autonomy and artificial intelligence into future combat aviation systems. The partnership, valued at $200 million, aims to develop embedded AI functions for Dassault's next generation of combat aircraft, including the Rafale F5 standard.

Dassault Aviation has led a $200 million Series B funding round for Harmattan AI, a defense technology company developing vertically integrated autonomous systems. The investment will support expanding AI-enabled missions across new operational theaters, extending Harmattan AI's product offering into new domains and scaling industrial manufacturing of its ISR, drone interception, and electronic warfare platforms.
