Firefly Aerospace has announced the selection of three educational payloads for launch as part of its DREAM program. The program, established in 2019, aims to make space attainable for everyone and provide opportunities for students to develop an interest in STEM fields.

Firefly Aerospace has been awarded the NASA Venture Class Launch Services Demonstration 2 (VCLS Demo 2) contract for the launch of two CubeSat constellations to a 550 km Sun-Synchronous Orbit. The company will bridge demand between pure small launch capability and the National Security Space Launch program, according to Firefly President Leslie Kovacs.
